Returns Open Chord Music Shop's primary goal is to give our customers the best possible shopping experience and to be 100 percent satisfied with their purchase. So, once a product is purchased, we give our customers a 48 Hour trial period to decide if they are happy with the purchase. If customers are not happy with their purchase, we allow our customers to return the purchased product in MOST cases (NOT ALL PRODUCTS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN - SEE BELOW WHAT ITEMS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE).
Our policy lasts 48 hours after product delivery. If 48 hours has gone by since package was delivered, unfortunately, any chance for a full refund or exchange is completely void.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the exact same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all original parts and components.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Partial Refunds (if applicable) Any item NOT in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, or any item that is return request that is more than 48 hours after delivery. These cases usually result in 15% restocking fee, but the exact amount of refund is up to Open Chord Music Shop's discretion.
Refunds (if applicable) Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If your refund is approved, then we will refund you the full purchase amount minus any shipping expenses we had to endure (even if free shipping was initially given) as well as a 15% restocking fee. Your adjusted refund will then be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 14 days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable) If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
Sale items (if applicable) Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Damaged In-Transit (if applicable) Merchandise damaged in transit or defective should be reported to us immediately. We will have the merchandise picked up and ship you a replacement ASAP (USA only). If a defective item is returned without allowing us to exchange it for you, it will be treated as a "Return" according to the policy above.

Gifts (if applicable) If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Non-Refundable items (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Microphones, Harmonicas, In-Ear Systems and any other items that come into contact with your mouth or ears.
Items labeled as BLOWOUT, are non-returnable. These are often being sold below cost and are considered "all sales final".
Guitar strings, blank media, and other disposable merchandise.
Guitar or bass pickups that have been installed or used in any way.
Instruments that have been customized by the request of the customer (such as a pickup installation or a customized setup.)
Any customer requested custom ordered items (such as custom Suhr guitars etc)
